A Night With Neil Diamond at Alexa Park LV

The legendary Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute” Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas residency is still thrilling audiences in the “MODERN SHOWROOMS” at Alexis Park Las Vegas Hotel.

Music icon Neil Diamond is one of the most successful and beloved singer/songwriters in rock and pop music history.

Besides being one of the biggest selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also created and performed the songs of a generation — including some of the most unforgettable songs on the planet.

In early 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond announced his retirement from performing after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s live performance legacy continues to be preserved for audiences worldwide through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, often called “the best of the best”.

Ask Alexa “who is America’s number one Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll always hear Rob Garrett.

Like his musical hero, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In the spring of 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to the Las Vegas Valley, where, in 1976, he witnessed his first live Neil Diamond show when Diamond made his attendance-breaking Las Vegas debut at the Aladdin Theater for the Performing Arts (now “PH Live”) in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him another 16 times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before making the move from cover band frontman to a tribute artist dedicated to one of Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show live band his boyhood inspirations.

In 1995, Garrett was selected by the legendary Paul Revere to portray Neil Diamond in the “Legends in Concert” show in Honolulu, Hawaii.

What was meant to be a limited run turned into a three-year residency.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a busy tour circuit, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute.”

He continues to draw packed houses nationwide, often in venues reserved for national acts.

Garrett has also won numerous awards, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, 2025 officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in 2025, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has performed his show at more Las Vegas venues than any other tribute artist.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the nation’s sole ongoing Neil Diamond tribute show.

Alexis Park Resort Hotel is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., near the Las Vegas Strip.
